This is the Web site of Tennessee Chapter of hfma. We respect your privacy. We do this by carefully protecting information that you provide to us. The following discloses what information our Web site collects and what we do with it. This privacy statement is for informational purposes only and should not be viewed as a contract.

When you connect to our Web site, we are able to recognize the Internet (IP) address of the computer providing you with Internet access. Our use of this IP address to track visitor generically and not to gather data about your or otherwise administer our Web site. This IP address may also be used to gather broad demographic information. Your IP address is never associated with you as an individual and never provided to another company or organization.

Our site writes a small data file called a cookie on your computer if you register for educational sessions using the online registration functions of our site. No personal information is placed in this file.  It is used to track your answers to our web poll and keep track of any user login information, last visit date and other benign information. The purpose is to aid your visit experience, not track you in any way.

We do not collect your name or e-mail address, unless you provide it on a registration form or send us an e-mail. Our site's forms may ask or require you to give us contact information (like your e-mail address), financial information (like your account or credit card numbers), and demographic information (like your zip code or address). We use this information to develop registration lists, sign-in sheets, name badges and report CPE/ Founders point information based in your registration. For example, financial information is used to bill you for the registration that you request. Any information collected is primarily for internal use of the Tennessee Chapter of hfma and is not made available to any outside group or organization except National hfma and state CPA societies for designated purposes.
