Certification and Professional Development
This committee is responsible for assisting members and others at member-run organizations with obtaining certification in competenecy areas with healthcare finance.

National Certification FHFMA and CHFP
Objective: Promote the benefits of certification as Certified Healthcare Financial Professionals (CHFP) and Fellow Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA).
Responsibility: Provide coaching and examination opportunities for certification candidates. Educate and encourage eligible members to become certified.

Certified Patient Account Representative
Objective: Promote professional certification for patient account representatives in healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities: Maintain the content and integrity of the CPAR study manual, administer examinations, initiate coaching sessions, plan and conduct award ceremonies.
