Henry Hottum Award Recipients
This award, named in honor of the first president of the Tennessee Chapter-HFMA, is presented each year to the member selected by the Chapter’s Board of Directors, who had made significant contributions to the Chapter in the field of accounting and business office practices.

 

Ira M. Lane Award Recipients
The Ira M. Lane, Jr. Award (previously Director’s Award) is given for sustained services to the Tennessee Chapter HFMA, in the professional development and advancement of chapter membership and have improved the public image of the healthcare industry. In addition, the award is given in recognition of contributions to the achievement of the Chapter’s goals and objectives.  The 1993-94 Board of Directors voted to rename the Director’s Award, the Ira M. Lane, Jr. Award, to honor the retiring Tennessee Hospital Association’s president for his unfailing support to HFMA over his thirty-three year tenure with THA.
